Born and now alive in Penang – after some years doing Comedy in KL – Raqib Karim is often referred to as ‘a walking encyclopedia’, ‘Brainiac’ and “Omg shut up already’ (by his comedy peers in KL). He is known for two things – incredibly articulate rants about current issues and unhinged observations about his disastrous personal life. There’s a thin line between genius and madness, and Raqib has long passed out spread eagle on top of it, much to everyone’s delight”
He’s been lucky enough to work with some of the best in the scene, from the boys at One Mic Stand and such luminaries as Rizal Van Geyzel, Papi Zak, Douglas Lim, Harith Iskander, and Kavin Jay.
