Nat Kang

NAT KANG is one of Southeast Asia’s only comedians specialising in musical and also dark comedy. With a sense of humour often described as mixing the musical, the morbid, and moronic, he was one of Malaysia’s most booked live comedy show hosts during the pandemic.

Since 2016, he has worked with nearly all of Malaysia’s major comedy headliners (Douglas Lim, Joanne Kam, Harith Iskander, Rizal van Geyzel, etc), and also various international stars such as Stephen K. Amos (ENG), Glenn Wool (CAN), Papa CJ (IND), Liz Miele (USA), Nigel Ng aka Uncle Roger (ENG/MAL), and even Tinky Winky the Teletubby.

2022 saw his international performing debut with a Southeast Asian tour, and since 2023 he has debuted his first four solo comedy hours, inclusive shows both in Malaysia as well as regionally (AirBender and AberrAsian in 2023, followed by Ances3 and Asiana in 2024). He is notable for being the first Malaysian comedian to headline in various Southeast Asian cities, as well as being Malaysia’s first standup comedian as seen on OnlyFans.
