The one and only Shamaine Othman has spent 10 years working in the Malaysian and Singaporean TV and film industry as writer, producer, director and actor. With extensive experience in both improv and stand-up comedy, she has performed with Malaysia’s longest-running improv troupe, AIIA Improv, and has graced stand-up comedy stages across Malaysia and Singapore, including the prestigious 10th Kings & Queens Comedy of Asia at The Esplanade, Singapore. Shamaine has also had the honour of being the opening act for Ronny Chieng and Gina Yashere. In 2022, Shamaine staged her debut comedy special, “Oh, No She Didn’t”, to sold out houses in Kuala Lumpur. She currently runs a bi-weekly work in progress stand up comedy room called Test is Best.

Shamaine Othman’s Improv Comedy Workshop will give you everything you need to improvise on the spot!
